In recent years I have often said ‘I don’t do regrets’ as I perceived them to be futile, but of course they present an opportunity to reflect and learn...as long as we can then find our peace 🙏. I know that feeling of ‘what if...’. I have it from the day my brother died: ‘what if I’d answered the phone...’ but ultimately the outcome is what it was, and we cannot hold ourselves responsible or we will self-destruct.
